Well hey there! Long time no type!
It's not you, it's me. I've been super overwhelmed with stuff. And by stuff I mean crying over
"Bethenny Getting Married?" & wrangling a toddler who can now open the dang refrigerator all by herself. She goes straight for the whipped cream which worries me because I may have inadvertently given her a whippit by attempting to squirt it in her mouth* & all that came out were the fumes stuff. Now I'm scared she's addicted.
(*this only happened once. Ok, twice).
Anyways- what I mean to say is, I've been busy.
The Big Crafty was amazeballs.
I was really happy with my work to begin with. I hit a stride & would wake up in the middle of the night, sit straight up & laugh way too hard at my own thoughts. Zack would be all "wtf?" & I'd be like, "Vive la deez nuts!" And he'd be like, "bahahahaha! That's funny now shut up."
So here you go, I'm sorry if you've seen these pictures a bajillion times already.
Ta da! The fruit of my labor. Can you tell how excited I am to be there?
Here's my trusty "store manager" Emily who I swear was totally pumped to be there too. Even more enthused to be photographed behind the big ass pear. Can't you tell? This is the look of sheer exhilaration.
The big hit of the day were the Asheville postcards. I'm telling you, we were the ones having the most fun watching people's reactions.
this one got a lot of attention too.
Glenda totally made my day by laughing at it. How cute is she?
This particular painting went home with it's rightful owner, Sonia who is the physical manifestation of it.
& here's my new friend Anthony who took this fly ass mixed tape home with him. His favorite song? Girlfriend In a Coma
& here's my most presh customer of the day. Jackson with his manties. His mom Katlin was hoping it would inspire him to put his peepee & doodoo in the potty. We're pulling for you, Jackson! You can do it!
This is my neighbor, the ineffable artist Gabriel Shaffer with his Vive la Deez Nuts purchase. He clearly knows appropriate product placement.
I loved meeting everyone & finding "my people." There are a bunch of other pics to see here on Flickr that you should point & laugh at.
There were sooo many incredible vendors there. I was pretty happy to be a part of all that awesomeness.
In other great news, my postcards, naughty greeting cards & some paintings are now in stores!
Dolce Vita on Wall St & Write On on Lexington. Fun, right? I've got my eyes on a couple more shops around town. I'm totally sweeping the nation! Ok not really. at all.
Overall the show was a mega-hit & I'm riding the momentum wave- making & creating more & more.
A big fat thanks to all of you who came to see me & bought cards about dry humping.
